Green Wedding in Guerneville, CA

Perhaps it is because I almost chose this venue for my own wedding or maybe it just my love for green weddings in general, but when I found this wedding on the knot I absolutely fell in love. Simple, personal and eco-chic! Looks like an amazing wedding.

This is a great question but the answer really depends on where you live. I usually try to go local first as this leaves the smallest carbon footprint possible. However, I currently live in San Francisco and we have Napa Valley just around the corner so it is much easier for me. If you don’t have a local winery in your area I would suggest supporting an organic or biodynamic winery such as Beringer, Frey or Ceago. Any of these wines would be a great wedding gift and it is always nice to support a winery who uses sustainable practices.
