All about Succulents!

Lately I have been obsessing over succulent plants.  They seem to be becoming more of a trend within the wedding industry as they are so versatile.  They can be used in bouquets, boutonnieres, and even in your centerpieces.  They are also extremely eco-friendly as they absorb water and therefore require minimal maintenance.  Unlike cut flowers, they last forever as well so you can enjoy them year round!

I never would have thought of using succulents in a bouquet. Brilliant! What are the yellow ball like things? If you put one of these in the ground after the wedding, assuming they have a few roots, will they live?

I thought they were so beautiful! I am not sure what the yellow ball is but this is the company who arranged them: http://www.lapartieevents.com/

You can ask her.  I know for centerpieces they would live because you could keep the root system and I would assume as long as the roots were in tact in the bouquet then you could just replant it after the ceremony.  However, the boutonnieres would probably have to be cut.  Although, you could enjoy them in your house all year and then cut them the day of if needed!
